I recently had to return this grill. I had purchased it for an outdoor kitchen. However, according to the instructions it requires 24" behind the grill. Since this was to be next to the house, it would have required a 4 foot deep countertop to accomodate the grill and additional space. The local inspector would not approve it unless it was installed according to Weber's diagram. Weber does not seem to list this space requirement in any of their advertising.
