Ok so I read all about different cleaners so I can't compare, but we put in a new in ground 16x 24x37 L shaped pool, it is a large pool! I run my Polaris at night and I have never had to clean the pool manually, he does it all! All I have to do is clean skimmers out and brush the steps off! He is amazing, parts are cheap and he is easy to run and repair! I bought the sand silt bag and would use nothing else but that bag. I do like the zipper bag better then the velcro, but they do not sell the silt bag with a ZIPPER? His tail has fell off before andmy husband put it back on it 5 mins. His tail gets sucked up occsionally but I just go out and fix him and I bought several replacement sponges for his tail, cause they dry up and get old after a few weeks. He climbs the side and all over the bottom, stays right on the bottom and picks up all kinds of sand and dirt, hair and bugs! PERFECT we actually kinda make fun that maybe he is our little robot pet hahahah Cause he sometimes pops up close to the side and sprays us ahahhaha the kids and pets seem to think he may be alive hahahah ANYWHO GREAT PRODUCT the only thing I would change is velcro to zipper bags hate cleaning the dirt and hair out of a velcro bag!!!
