Although the action of the rake in this video isn't that dramatic it's only because the area being raked had been cleaned up the day before. Even on a raked and swept lawn the rake still pulled enough dead grass and debris up to make a windrow as can be seen as the tractor approaches the camera. The tine reels are free floating and each side moves up and down independent of the other so that depressions or high spots are no problem. The rake doesn't miss anything.
Everything about this piece of equipment looks and feels to be heavy duty and with proper care should last for many years. Assembly was straight forward and simple. The hardest part was figuring out which way to mount the tine reels so that they raked rather than de-thatched. They are mounted for raking in the picture preceding the video in this review.
