Of all the hydroponic units tryed, this unit is by far the most convenient and economical. Set up and operation very easy. Fits in almost any growing space. The reservoir can go seven to ten days without being changed, however, once every five for best results works good. "Smart Pot" #10 fits perfect for the one plant operation. Filled with hydrostones, a recycle timer can run the small water pump as often as need be, but any soiless medium works great. Hydrostones are my preferance due to the high volume of oxygen as well as using the Smart pots. Otherwise, many small planters can replace the one plant garden that I prefer. A water pump filter bag sold separately helps but not required. Cleaning the unit is simple between nutrient changes thru the easy accessable porthole. There is also a convenient port hole for air pump hoses to keep reservoir oxygenated. This unit is ideal for the one plant operation to take cuttings off of an then endgame. Highly recommend.
