This rain barrel fit the spot we picked great and it is cute, but the workmanship on the spout mounts is disappointing. I followed the directs to the letter. Initially the seal on the bottom spout mount failed and I had to remove it, clean it and re-bond it with better adhesive/epoxy. After re-taping several times with teflon tape there is still water "weeping" from the spout thread areas. The upper spout is a standard brass spigot, but the lower is a combination brass and plastic valve. I replaced this with a brass fitting because I thought the original valve leaked.
