Item shipped promptly and was received within the scheduled delivery date. The assembly was not without some small problems, like plastic nuts and machine screws that snapped at a "sneeze". I replaced all the "plastic" machine screws and nuts with American made. Am now in the 4th week of composting, and the final composted materials is still working. The product was packed with a booklet on composting which was an unexpected and welcome surprise. All of the how to's are in the booklet, so the beginner should have no problem in getting started with recycling kitchen and yard waste.
If you only eat frozen processed food, you have no idea how much kitchen waste is added to landfills!

Fuego EG03AMGR Element Dual-Zone Gas BBQ Grill, Red Review

PROS: BBQ looks good, thus the awards. Dual adjustable ring burners allow for good heat control. The battery powered ignitor has NEVER failed me, even after 2 years - unheard of. Cast iron grill leaves your meat with that cool criss cross pattern of a real BBQ chef.

CONS: Even with both burners going, it seems under-powered. Cooking times are significantly longer. There is almost no thermal mass to the device since the only substance is in the cast iron gril itself. Note too that the grill is round, so it is hard to take advantage of all of the open surface space - square is definitely much better. There is a 5" diam 2" deep dimple on the top (where the handle goes)that fills with water. Birds love it, I curse it when it pours down my leg when I open the lid. There is an internal clip on the lid for hanging it up. It is on the wrong side - designer was apparenly left handed. There is a grease catch cup buried up high underneath the grill - I DARE you to get it out without spilling it down the inside of the BBQ and on the deck. Because there are no ceramic rocks or anything between the burner and the grill, ALL of the grease runs out in liquid form, so you become familiar fast with the catch cup (Full us usually acknowledged by the puddle on the deck ...). Any other BBQ I have owned burned almost all of the grease off, with the smoke creating a large part of the BBQ flavour which is all but absent anyway on a gas BBQ.

As it was a gift, all of this I could work around, but probably the MOST annoying part is that it cannot be cleaned - again, because nothing burns off, it piles up inside and there is no simple way to get the greasy gooey black mess out short of laying it on its side and hammering it with a pressure washer.

For the price, give me a tried and true cast aluminum Broilking, and you will have enough cash left over for a side of beef or a lifetime supply of propane.

The heaters seem to be working well although it has been a mild winter. The directions could have been much better in showing how to run the wires back to the electrical side of the unit. Was not sure what the wires could and should not be touching - so that the insulation would not wear off due to engine vibration creating a shock hazard. I felt that they should have bovered with an additional insulation covering to protect the individuially insulated wires for safety.

We have a wonderful vintage Adirondack chair we've had for years now, but it is so weather worn and well-loved that it's ready to retire. Everyone has spent time sitting in the back yard comfortably nestled in its arms reading and enjoying themselves as they catch a few rays and drinking a cold one of choice. No doubt it's only a matter of time before the darn thing collapses and I was especially pleased to see the Highwood Reclining Adirondack Adult Chair arrive.

In addition to the chair and the Highwood folding side table, we also have this folding ottoman. The ottoman is quite sturdy and surprisingly comfortable, especially when the chair is reclining slightly. The design is lovely and will fold up for easy storage. The curved design will not allow for flat storage, but you will still be able to easily tuck it away in your garage or storage shed. If you are purchasing this for your pool area, when the Adirondack chair is fully reclined it feels like a lounge chair.

PROS:

++ The ottoman is weather resistant, although I would recommend putting it up for the winter in areas that experience freezing temperatures.

++ It's very durable under normal use and should not experience any breaks in the material.

++ The ottoman folds up and can be stored or moved aside if you aren't using it.

We're very pleased with the quality of our Highwood Adirondack furniture and are certainly glad their will be no more scraping or painting in our future. It's definitely high end price wise and not for everyone, but it will last for years. The only thing I've had to do with the ottoman is wipe it down with a dry cloth. The texture is similar to common siding and I'm sure that the only thing it will need a light scrubbing if left outside year round.

Hozelock Prima XL 1000 Pump Review

I have a 10,000 gallon koi pond and this pump is the best one I could buy. It not only is a workhorse pump but it is completely quiet. When you walk up to my pond you hear the waterfall, not the pump!
They no longer make this pump so I bought 3 of them! The first one I purchased in 2003 just went out after 7 years of 24/7 perfect service.
