So far our feelings are mixed. We received this well packaged product Jan. 2013. The first test drive was in 6 inches of rained on snow. The only speed was fastest and there was no reverse. My husband of 6'4 was dragged down the driveway with the auger ripping through the heavy snow and sending the mess at least 25'. Very impressive. However,we found that when we took off the cover , there are two wrench looking parts that are just sitting there unattached. The book showing the picture does not show these parts. We see how it might go but we don't know if parts are missing or what. We did not get a booklet showing parts orders with it.
Anyway we can't use the machine and can't believe it came unassembled underneath. Got it on line so don't know who to contact. We can only think that this was a Monday morning made machine.

Several weeks have past. Amazon won't help us and won't take machine back. Murray dealer is awful. Many contacts. They told me I must have gotten a used machine because they would never send out a dissassemled product. I told them it was a new machine. They would send me parts missing . Heck, how would I know how to assemble and therefore what is missing. No one would know. A parts book doesn't show an assembled transmission. Then I was told that I can bring it to a dealer and I pay to get it there. It weighs lots and it's not something that can go in your car. Even if you have a truck who can lift it that high? They told me whoever assembles it would file a claim to Briggs and Stratton. I know darn well that they would make me pay for this. Meanwhile , I have called the bank to help intervene. Don't ask me what I will do when it snows again. I don't see an end to this . Murray and Amazon obviously do not care and have been most unhelpful. I would not recommend buying machines like this on line. This is a nightmare. Pay a few bucks more and get another make at a local store. It will cost us all the savings to have this picked up .
