I was excited to use an electric lawn mower but was skeptical of how well it would actually work. I tried it on my back yard that had not been cut in 5 months! It did an amazing job. I bought this one by accident I thought it was self propelled, came with an extra battery and quick charger. The only thing it is missing from the model below is being self propelled. This thing is so light it doesn't even matter. The cost of a replacement battery would be more than the added cost to move up to this model, and by having 2 batteries instead of one they will wear out a whole lot slower than just using the same one all the time. The key is to alternate batteries if you don't need both to finish the job and lengthen the wear out period.

Replacement parts are cheap: blade is $18 and so is the replacement bag. You won't be disappointed with this thing. Battery life gets better after about the 3rd or 4th use. With a lifetime warranty on the deck there is no reason not to go electric from now on!
